3D Primitives

3D Primitives is a lightweight SketchUp extension designed to speed up early-stage modeling and technical mockups. Instead of manually drawing circles, push/pull, or building spirals step-by-step, you can insert common primitives from a single dialog.

Choose a shape, set its dimensions with sliders or numeric fields, adjust segmentation for smoothness/performance, pick an insertion point, then click Insert. The tool generates native SketchUp geometry you can immediately edit, group, or turn into a component.

Best for: massing studies, quick placeholders, concept iterations, geometry tests, and teaching fundamentals.
