Inspector

Inspector is a fast, practical SketchUp extension for reviewing, editing, and managing groups and components from one compact interface. It gives you immediate access to essential object information, including type, name, definition, tag, orientation, visibility, locking status, and bounding-box dimensions.

Designed for large and detailed models, Inspector helps reduce repetitive editing tasks. You can rename multiple selected objects, find and replace text in names, and copy properties from one object to another. Choose which properties to transfer, including tags, materials, hidden status, and locked status, so you remain in control of every change.

Inspector also makes it easier to locate related objects throughout the model. With one click, you can select items that share the same tag, material, component definition, or instance characteristics. This is especially useful for organizing architectural, structural, manufacturing, and production models containing many repeated elements.

By combining object inspection, batch editing, property transfer, and select-similar tools in one panel, Inspector provides a faster and more consistent way to manage complex SketchUp projects.
