3D Dimensions is a professional SketchUp extension that replaces standard 2D dimensions with actual 3D geometry—ideal for 3D printing, CNC/fabrication workflows, clearance checks in complex assemblies, and high-impact presentations where flat dimensions disappear in perspective views or renders.
Unlike classic SketchUp dimensions (which are screen-based and view-dependent), 3D Dimensions generates a clean, export-friendly group containing a 3D dimension line, endpoints, and 3D text. The result remains visible in all render modes, stays readable from any angle, and can be included reliably in downstream exports and coordination workflows.
